‘TINY BLOSSOM – Where Quality Matters’ is a Pre-School and Day Care, currently running two branches in Gurugram.
We are using Montessori Method of Education developed by Maria Montessori, is a child centered educational approach. Where child learn concepts from working with materials, rather than by direct instruction. Montessori Method views the child as one who is naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive, thoughtfully prepared learning environment. It attempts to develop children physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively.
Specialized educational materials developed by Montessori and her collaborators often made out of natural, aesthetic materials such as wood, rather than plastic.
A thoughtfully prepared environment where materials are organized by subject area, within reach of the child, and are appropriate in size. Freedom within limits.
Our Aim
Our aim is to guide the children in early childhood age toward healthier development. Preschool provide early childhood education and care for children, and help them develop a range of skills that make them ready to learn when they start formal schooling.
Social skills
: The ability to empathize and interact successfully with their peer group, and also relate easily to adults.
Language skills
: The ability to have adequate language skills in order to benefit from experiences facilitating their cognitive, educational and social development.
Executive function skills
: The ability to hold and manipulate information in the brain, plan and regulate one’s behaviour, problem-solve, and be creative.
Emotional self-regulation skills
: The ability to adapt behaviours depending on the situation, to control impulses and to shift attention.
Montessori Method
Montessori Method has been discovered by Dr. Maria Montessori. Montessori is a method of education that is based on helping the natural development of the human being and based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and child’s own experience. Child can work where he/she is comfortable, move around and talk at will while not disturbing others. Working and learning matched to the social development of the child. Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore knowledge of the world and to develop their maximum potential. Learning is based on the fact that physical exploration and cognition are linked
Every material in a Montessori classroom supports an aspect of child development, creating a match between the child’s natural interests and the available activities. They can respond at any moment to the natural curiosities that exist in all humans and build a solid foundation for life-long learning
